Battery Design & Construction:
We prioritize selling batteries that are built to last. every internal component from the insulation to the type of wire used is made with the highest marine-grade materials, additionally a great deal of work and engineering goes into ensuring everything internally is safe and securely mounted, being capable of taking on the toughest working conditions.
Safety:
All of our batteries are constructed using Lithium Iron Phosphate, which is an extremely stable battery chemistry that is safe from thermal runaway events.
In addition, our batteries utilize a battery management system (BMS). This intelligent chip constantly monitors all parameters of the battery at a high sample rate and performs the following duties:
Distributes power equally among the cells (cell balancing)
Monitors steady state, charging and discharge voltages and current to protect against over-voltage and over-current conditions. Shuts down battery if limits exceeded.
Monitors battery internal temperature and executes shut down if temperatures get too high, or disables charging if too cold.
Grade-A LiFePO4 Cells:
Every battery is packed with the highest quality prismatic or cylindrical lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO4) cells from EVE, The same company that supplies lithium battery packs to auto manufacturers like BMW and Honda, and is a global leader in battery cell manufacturing. After manufacturing of the cells, they are tested and graded based on a variety of factors, only Grade-A cells are used in our batteries.
Quality:
Every battery is checked and tested to guarantee it meets or exceeds our quality standards. All batteries include a limited 10 year warranty against manufacturer defects. In addition, a great deal of testing goes into each battery design, this includes cycle testing and vibration/heat testing to ensure they will survive real world conditions.
